I’m here to guide you toward your perfect fit. Just as every skier is unique, so are their feet, and every ski boot on the market is built on a slightly different shape and design philosophy. My approach is rooted in precision, experience, and a commitment to finding the boot that truly works for you.

The Fitting Process

Every fitting begins with a detailed evaluation. We start by measuring your foot to establish the foundation of your fit profile, followed by an assessment of your foot and ankle biomechanics. This allows me to understand how your body interacts with the boot and the ski, and informs every decision that follows.

Selecting the Right Boot

With this information, I narrow the vast selection of boots on the market down to three or four carefully chosen options. Each is selected to match your anatomy, skiing style, and performance goals.

From there, we try on each option to determine which boot fits your foot most naturally straight out of the box. While no boot feels perfect immediately, the goal is to start with the best possible platform—one that can be refined, expanded, and tuned, but never made smaller.

Custom Footbeds:
The Foundation

Once the boot is selected, we move on to creating your custom insole, or footbed: the true foundation of the bootfit. A properly crafted footbed stabilizes the foot and ankle, improves alignment, and connects you to the boot far more effectively than any stock insole ever could.

Stance Alignment
and Performance

After your footbeds are complete, you’ll step back into the boots so we can reassess comfort and evaluate stance alignment. Stance alignment involves precise modifications to the boot sole to better align your hips, legs, and ankles with your skis; and ultimately, with the mountain.

If you’ve struggled to engage your edges or feel balanced over your skis, stance alignment is often the missing piece.

Beyond the First Fit

Once alignment is complete, it’s time to ski and enjoy your new custom-fit boots. While the fit will continue to evolve over the first few ski days as the boots break in, the process doesn’t end there.

I’m always here to make further adjustments as needed, ensuring your boots become the most comfortable, precise, and confidence-inspiring pair you’ve ever worn.
